We’re delighted to share an update on our current infrastructure work in Shrewsbury town centre, where we are in the final phase of installing 24 new bus shelters in and around the town.
Working in partnership with local authorities, this project is part of a broader initiative to improve public transport infrastructure and support sustainable travel across Shropshire. The new shelters feature modern, durable designs that enhance both comfort and accessibility for bus passengers. Each shelter includes improved weather protection and updated travel information to create a safer and more welcoming waiting environment.
With the majority of installations now complete, the project is on track for full completion soon – delivering a long-lasting benefit to residents, visitors and the town’s public transport network.
